Competing in the lightweight categories (-54kg, -58kg, -63kg) where speed and perfect technique matter more than raw power, he became a multi-time Rajasthan State Champion and won medals at numerous national-level tournaments across India.
The pinnacle came in 2019 when he was selected to represent Rajasthan University at the prestigious All India University National Taekwondo Championship — competing against the best university players from across the country. Hemraj Sir is one of the most accomplished coaches at Om's Martial Arts & Fitness Studio in Jaipur. Since joining the academy's coaching team at the end of 2016, he has worked alongside Om Sir and Rajesh Sir to provide world-class training to students across all age groups and skill levels.
What sets Hemraj Sir apart is his rare combination of championship-level playing experience and formal coaching certification. He completed his NS-NIS certification in 2024 from Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports — India's premier institute for professional sports coaching — making him a scientifically trained coach who understands the mechanics, psychology, and physiology of elite performance.
